Regrets - I've Had a Few...

Someone on the explore chat suggested I keep a blog of my pictures that I caption. After a huge search, some pilfering, and digging through old files, I've found most of them. Thanks to all the CPs who helped - I learned a lot doing this! The pics were a wonderful archive of fabulous memories of the last six months since I learned to do some photo-shopping and captioning. Some are still missing: I really wish I had the pic of the giraffe peeking into the business meeting in the new G-tent, Dutchie adventures on Puppy Hill and Neal's arrival in the nursery, the antics of the puppies at WCC trying to reach the window in the PEC or heading down to the river for a swim.... I'm hoping some pop up from time to time in the Facebook pages - it seems pics do occasionally resurface with whatever algorithm FB uses. But from now on, I intend to keep adding them to the blog - my own memory book for SDP and WCC.

mamas

From the old files:


I haven't tagged a lot of pics of the mamas when they are expecting - I just feel so sorry for them as they get so HUGE!!!!!  I remember commenting on Olive that she looked 'stuffed' and someone picked up on that and named her litter "The Pimientos".    Add on to that the girls leave their home and family and come hang at the farm for a week before delivery and about five weeks after and I just feel so BAD for them.  No vacation, that!  Just lots and lots and lots of really hard work.  Bless their hearts - our girls are great mommies!!!!





I have to admit - I stole the punchline from Goldie Hawn's "Overboard".  I can hear her supercilious tone ringing through the caption.







The girls always look so totally bored while waiting for their babies to arrive.  
So - a boring song was needed for a punchline.  Easy choice!

I didn't caption this one - it didn't need it.  But it says EVERYTHING!!

I liked playing with the graphics on this one - the big and little hearts were all the dialogue I needed.
