So, our little Daisy caught us all by surprise and just popped out her foal when almost no one was looking! Fast forward to little Josie - She starts displaying ALL the signs of imminent delivery and the CPs get all geared up for yet ANOTHER miracle happening at Crazy Acres! Sign on, get snacks and drinks and tissues at hand - "We're gonna have a baby!!!!"
We are SO ready!!!!

Josie has decided that she's going to drag this out for a day.
We'll have to see how long this goes on.

Mt. Vernon Hot Buttered Rum
Combine 2 c brown sugar, 1/2 c butter, a pinch of salt, and 2 quarts hot water.
Add 3 cinnamon sticks and 6 whole cloves.
Warm on very low heat (below a simmer) for several hours.
Stir in 2 c dark rum.
Ladle into mugs, top with whipped cream and dust with nutmeg shavings
