Regrets - I've Had a Few...

Someone on the explore chat suggested I keep a blog of my pictures that I caption. After a huge search, some pilfering, and digging through old files, I've found most of them. Thanks to all the CPs who helped - I learned a lot doing this! The pics were a wonderful archive of fabulous memories of the last six months since I learned to do some photo-shopping and captioning. Some are still missing: I really wish I had the pic of the giraffe peeking into the business meeting in the new G-tent, Dutchie adventures on Puppy Hill and Neal's arrival in the nursery, the antics of the puppies at WCC trying to reach the window in the PEC or heading down to the river for a swim.... I'm hoping some pop up from time to time in the Facebook pages - it seems pics do occasionally resurface with whatever algorithm FB uses. But from now on, I intend to keep adding them to the blog - my own memory book for SDP and WCC.

If, by any chance, you've saved one of my captioned pics to your own files somewhere, could you PM it to me? Thanks!! Enjoy the trip back down memory lane.

February, 2016

February, 2016:

Audrey is just being goofy!!

Mark and "Spotted Dog #462"

Grommie, starved for attention???

Audrey is perfecting her escape artist routie.  She NEEDS her own toolbox.

ARiot - with the kiss someone requested!

ARiot, with her own snuggly - a purple pillow.  It's a Great Dane version of a Binkie and a Wubbie, all rolled into one!

The new camera angle in the condos - and the kids chatting with each other:

Murray Hill, a rescue dog who has his own page on FB.  He went with his dad and brother when they had their eyes tested - and was afraid he'd wind up with glasses.  I couldn't resist!!

The kids posing at the top of Puppy Hill
(which seems to be a favorite place to sit!)

Carlene's quote in the DD after the first SDP Cake Day:

Merle and Gronk, waiting for something

Audrey and her beloved Bear

Audrey and Kenny:

Mr. Rocco LaGuppie, Proprietor and Head Stylist at Rocco's Spa and Salon

a CP's pup, being utterly adorable and goofy:

Cold snap - can never have too many blankets!!

Lots of kids in the condos!

My boy, Bunce!!  WCC's dog on the WUSA news team - I sent him some crackers he likes.  The news team and Bunce loved them!!

Love!!

Japanese film crew doing a story on George's relatives:

The puppies' baby teeth are beginning to fall out.
Shannon could make necklaces with all those teeth from 31 babies!!!

A couple of sick pups and Nurse Grace is on duty!

Carlene made a new toy for the pups.  Smart little guys figure it out!

Wanda and her Security Coat are back!

I don't celebrate V-Day, but I DO celebrate Bentley.  My first day at the farm, he came running up to greet me.  And I quickly learned that being leaned on by Bentley is an experience you remember.  I also learned it is one of the ways dogs say "I love you"!  Well, I love you too, BIg Guy!!!!

Part II of The Great Hat Saga:

(and if you haven't met Grace, yes, she can do ANYTHING!!!!)

Primary Day Fun:

The Great Hat Saga, Part 1:
Chinese New Year celebrations and Mardi Gras coincide this year:

Special guest comes to mail call:

Yellow,  in the arena, waiting for someone to play with:

First good snowstorm of the season!

I think Jeri took this one.
Audrey and her bear were snuggling in the training room, bonding with new mom and dad.

And then one of the CPs wished them "happy trails" on their journey home to Ohio.
Thanks to her and Dale Evans for those lyrics - so appropriate!

Speaking of lyrics - one of my favorite songs - Phil Collins "You'll Be in My Heart".
Miss Voo Dutchie and Miss Audrey Hepburn, who have been besties for a while,
had one last long glorious romp in the arena before Audrey left with Mommie and Daddy .
Love the hugs!!

OMG!!!   I just found a message from Jeri back when I started this entire project - and she had a copy of one of my first photoshop efforts - the team meeting in the brand new G-Tent, including a visitor who just happened to be passing by!!  Thank you, Jeri!  Made my day!!!  (The only shot I need to find now is the one when Neal arrived and was so cute with Carlene)

- still looking.....

This one took a while:  Lots of edits!!
Laughing - a lot of CPs thought THIS was the actual report card the school sent home with Bella and George.  I guess my "teacher-speak" skills haven't been lost yet!!  Glad this one turned out so believable!!!!  It took a while to find a photo I could clip and then have to delete out everything that was on it and insert the school "behaviors" and "grades".  I may have another career in front of me, forging documents!!!

Dreams Come True Day!!!

Meanwhile, back in the feed room:

February 4 - Mommie and Daddy are coming for me today!!!

Poor Penguin!!!!  No respect!

How do I love thee, Audrey Hepburn?  Let me count the ways:

Orderly babies:

Dreaming:

Gretchen being a goofy girl:

Gretchen playig with ARiot:

Ummmmm.....black dog???

Haven't got a clue who this is.  But I LOVED the faces:

Audrey is getting ready to go to her new mommie and daddy.  And, of course, Bear is making the trip, too!!  I'm going to miss this girl!!!

The pups were all outside, making no noise. Great shot!!
