Regrets - I've Had a Few...

Someone on the explore chat suggested I keep a blog of my pictures that I caption. After a huge search, some pilfering, and digging through old files, I've found most of them. Thanks to all the CPs who helped - I learned a lot doing this! The pics were a wonderful archive of fabulous memories of the last six months since I learned to do some photo-shopping and captioning. Some are still missing: I really wish I had the pic of the giraffe peeking into the business meeting in the new G-tent, Dutchie adventures on Puppy Hill and Neal's arrival in the nursery, the antics of the puppies at WCC trying to reach the window in the PEC or heading down to the river for a swim.... I'm hoping some pop up from time to time in the Facebook pages - it seems pics do occasionally resurface with whatever algorithm FB uses. But from now on, I intend to keep adding them to the blog - my own memory book for SDP and WCC.

If, by any chance, you've saved one of my captioned pics to your own files somewhere, could you PM it to me? Thanks!! Enjoy the trip back down memory lane.

The Great Cookie Caper

The Adventures of Audrey and Her Bear:

"The Great Cookie Caper"

LATE-BREAKING STORY: COUPLE IN OHIO PROTEST "EMINENT DOMAIN ISSUE" - PETITION OHIO GOVERNOR TO TAKE DOWN TOLL BOOTH IN HOUSE:

Homeowners Jeri and Steve Ray have run into a unique problem: A toll booth has recently appeared between their living room and kitchen. The toll taker insists on being paid with cookies in BOTH directions. "It really is becoming a nightmare," the beleaguered homeowners report. "Some government employees just don't know when to stop!" Mrs. Ray states that the new toll taker, formerly known as 'Audrey Hepburn', and an accomplice, a small brown bear, have been manning the toll booth 24 hours a day. More on this story at the 11pm broadcast.

UPDATE: BARBERTON, OHIO TOLL BOOTH CONTROVERSY

Miss Audrey Starlet Ray, formerly known as 'Audrey Hepburn Starlet' and Mr Ted E. Bear, have submitted to questioning by authorities regarding the recent toll booth controversy. Miss Ray insists, “The bear made me do it!!” Mr. Bear, however, is remaining silent. The homeowners, who had the unfortunate experience of a toll booth appearing in the middle of their house are relieved to know they are not part of a “Dr. Who” episode and other appearing and disappearing edifices are NOT to be expected. “We were running out of cookies and didn't know what they would do! That bear looked a little desperate!” said Mr. Ray. The perpetrators have been held for further questioning and the toll booth is in the process of being dismantled. Mrs. Ray has stated that she is perfectly willing to give both of the former toll takers as many cookies as they would like as long as they will wait for the stores to open in the morning. Miss Ray has stated that she is extremely sorry to have caused any concern. The bear remains silent.

The Dutch girls are in #9 and #10 for the next step in their training:

I challenged the CPs to help me finish a sonnet about ARiot and her purple pillow.
I think they did a GREAT job!!!

My friend, Murray Hill.  He's a rescue that keeps a pretty funny FaceBook page.  He lives with his brother, Peter, his mom, and "Mr. Excitement".   Mom was leaving on a business trip so Murray was wondering if he should have a locket so he can't forget what she looks like....

(Not a political statement.)  I just loved the expression on the pup's face as he watched the Governor sign a bill regulating puppy mills into law.  We need better laws in ALL the states!

Kooper and Breeze - two beautiful rescue pups who live with my friend Ralph in Wisconsin.  Besides being adorable, they are training as therapy dogs.  In the meantime, they raise oodles of money for Canine Cancer research.

Maud is Preggers!!!!
What will she have?
And how many?
Our chubby girl is gonna be a mama!!!

Frenzy.  Doing the Goth Look proud!

How laid-back can you get?
